The Lions win the penalty and maul forward. After six phases Jacques van Rooyen forces his way over for a much needed try on the stroke of half time. The Lions have done well to score on the stroke of half time. That will give them some confidence in the second half. They need to reduce their mistakes and take their own opportunities.

The Lions are controlling the possession again and they are looking to attack. Hurricanes have done well to take the momentum of the first half into the second.
